Dizm Eyewear has launched a 100% renewable and biodegradable sunglass collection, featuring RB Cellulose Acetate, a plant based material derived from cotton, wood, and palm oil. Here’s what the brand had to say about the newest eco product.

Dizm Eyewear is proud to announce the launch of their Eco Collection- the first sunglass collection with 100% renewable and biodegradable frames. Our eco collection is fashioned from RB Cellulose Acetate, a plant based material derived from cotton, wood and palm oil. With the appropriate environmental conditions these frames will decompose into water, carbon dioxide, and biomass. Meets compliance with the American and European certification for biodegradation.

Says general manager Jonas Lee, “After extensive R&D effort, we’re thrilled to bring our exclusive renewable biodegradable material – RB Cellulose Acetate – to the action sports market. Not only are these frames stylish, lightweight, durable and rich in color, but the best thing about them is that if they wind up in a landfill they turn into worm food, or if they end up in the ocean they turn into fish food.”
